Today we’d like to introduce you to Pedro.

Hi Pedro, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

I started in the insurance industry at the age of 18 at a local Insurance agency in chandler. Worked as customer service and worked my way up to a sales agent. I worked at that agency for about 2 1/2 years and then moved over to the corporate world of Allstate as a sales agent, I quickly climbed up the corporate ladder managing a team of my own. I worked for corporate for another 2 1/2 years but moved back to working as an Agency manager for a local agency in chandler once again. I then got th eopportunity to open my own Insurance agency at the age of 25 on September 1st 2023. Allstate named me the youngest Allstate agency owner in AZ at that time. We just celebrated 2 years open and have been growing my own team with 6 licensed sales reps under me. We were in Gilbert but got a bigger office in Down town Mesa back in June.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

I think the idea of opening my own agency was the hardest part mentally. The thought of not being successful and struggling was the fear. But the pros outweighed the cons that inspired me to move forward. Making sure budgeting was a big thing for me to prepare everything runs smooth. Fortunately, we have been able to continue to grow and are a successful agency. We reached over 100 5 star google reviews due to our honest and hard work. This year we were named an Elite Agency by Allstate which is awarded to the agents who complete great retention and growth of clients.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

I am an insurance agency owner in Mesa. Where I grew up. I specialize in writing the correct Auto and Home insurance policies for clients based on their insurance needs. I have over 8 years of experience in Allstate Insurance through local agency and corporate knowledge. I have worked from the bottom up. I am most proud to be a first business owner in my family with immigrant parents which makes me a first generation. At The Hernandez Insurance Agency, we believe in treating our clients like family. Whether you’re looking for auto, home, business, life, or umbrella insurance, we’re here to make sure you’re protected at every stage of life. Our mission goes beyond simply offering coverage, we’re here to build real relationships based on trust and care.
